Description
This remarkable Ford Escort XR3 I was supplied brand new by DS Dalgleish & Son in Galashiels to its first owner a Mr Ernest Burns from Hexham in Northumberland on the 1st August 1988.
Mr Burns kept the car approximately 5 years before selling it with just 7000 miles on the clock to a Mr a Robert Parker from Blackburn who has owned and cherished it ever since.
During Mr Burns ownership he had it serviced @ 1499 miles in May 1989 and then again @ 6252 miles in November 1992.
Since the second owner has owned the car he has kept every MOT up to date showing just minor use.
Mr Parker has maintained the Escort himself and has kept all bills for Ford service parts during his ownership.

We have a full book pack with service book, owners manual, spare keys, every MOT from new, radio operation guide and alarm/ immobiliser instruction book, also present is an unopened Mercury Grey touch up paint stick and lacquer. We also have a Haynes workshop manual.
This outstanding car can only be described as "as new" the paintwork is flawless with excellent deep shine, the car is arrow straight down the sides with no ripples or dents. The interior is the best that I have ever seen, as good as new!

The underside has been lightly under sealed / Waxioled for ultimate protection.
