1976 Kawasaki Z900 // 21300mls Indicated // 11 Previous Owners // The Mighty Z900 in Custom Paint
The Z900 was an upgrade to the discontinued Z1 in 1976. When this was released, it was the fastest road-going roadster you could buy. It wasn’t an incredible power-house, it was just years of refinement coming together into something special. You got an additional rear disc brake over the Z1, plus thinner and light front discs to keep weight down. Peak torque had moved up 500rpm from the previous iterations, for a more usable torque range, and stiffer rear shocks helped keep the whole thing planted. The result was an un-assuming little power house, that was pretty versatile in whatever you threw at it. It’s a great looking bike too, with ergonomics that favour functionality and comfort, with a nice plush seat and room for luggage- this is ready for whatever you need it to be.
Our example is a custom mid-mileage bike with plenty of use, and a striking one-off paint job. And it would be an absolute shame for this bike to sit any longer since it is best on the road.
