1967 Buick Riviera coupe 430 V8/ 4bbl. Super rare California stunner!
Wow! This is one of the most stunning automotive designs to come out of 60’s Detroit. Just look at the angles GM designer Bill Mitchell created on this car! Quite simply one of the classiest American pillarless coupes ever built and breathtaking from every angle. The 67 Riviera was marketed as ‘The Executives Muscle Car’ and what a fabulous piece of engineering it is too. The build is pure quality and way beyond the cheaper Mustangs, Camaro’s, Firebirds and Chargers of the period. Recently arrived fresh from desert dry Southern California, now fully UK registered. This is one beautiful original investment car with great pedigree and presented in completely stock condition.
Condition
Genuine lifelong Los Angeles black plate survivor car. Beautiful underneath, no body damage, no accidents, super straight down both sides, no rot. Gorgeous Riviera Gold metallic with perfect original black vinyl top. Paintwork finish is very high standard. Stunning design bumpers which are ding and scrape free with beautiful original chrome. Factory sport mag wheels with R centre caps and whitewall tyres look just fabulous. Concealed/ rotating headlights and front grill is just to die for!
Beautiful black interior in gorgeous original condition. All instrumentation working, equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, a/ c all standard on a Riviera. Unusually perfect dash and door cards, all glass is in great condition too with no de-lamination, no cracks, no rock-chips, no wiper scratches. Boot is immaculately trimmed with correct spare wheel and jack.
Mechanicals
Wow, what a superb driver! Fast, responsive and agile, this Riviera is a tyre shredding power house that drives really well. Matching numbers original 430ci V8 with 4bbl is super fit with 360hp and performs superbly. Engine is completely unmodified with original air cleaner, smog pump and air con all still in place. Runs super sweet with no oil leaks and excellent oil pressure. Very high spec muscle car with silky smooth 400 Turbo transmission and high geared rear end. All stock factory spec. Recent tyres, transmission rebuild, brakes, shocks, battery etc. Gorgeous sounding dual exhaust system, first time starter, auto choke works perfect, off the button and ready to go.
