Vauxhall Victor FB Estate – Show Winning Car
The FB launched in 1961 reflected the transatlantic styling popular across Europe at the time and over 320, 000 were manufactured before production ceased in 1964. The car received a revised engine with optional four speed floor change gearbox and was available as a saloon or factory designed estate car. The FB was popular with the public but hard work and poor rust protection has resulted in the estate being an incredibly rare sight and good examples are highly prized.
Described as “The best FB estate he had ever seen” by the editor of the Vauxhall Victor Owners Club Milestone Classics are delighted to offer this remarkable car for sale. It is a 1962 model, a Super, but having optional separate front seats and four speed gearbox. The two-tone (Bermuda blue with Moonlight blue roof) is excellent and the rear end design conjures up images of American station wagons of the period. Underneath the Victor is as good as the top – she simply looks like a one year old car.
Stepping into the car is like going back in time. The two-tone “Vynide” interior and deep pile carpets are superb with the original jukebox dashboard making this a truly exception driving experience. The large history file contains invoices/ MOT’s from the 1960’s onwards, drivers handbook and details of the restoration conducted in 1996.
At Milestones we always look for exceptional cars to offer to our customers. This is without question the best FB Estate you could hope to find and we expect her to find an appreciative new owner very quickly
