This Humber Sceptre was registered to Leslie Lenton on 23rd November 1963. He died in 1972 and the car was passed on to his wife Ada.
She sold it to a friend Brain Wright in March 1973. He used it until 1979 when it was put into dry storage for 24 years covering only 3 miles in this time.
The car was well known by the next owner David Beale who brought it on 28th October 2003 and had it professionally recommisioned. He used it sparingly adding only 1445 miles until it was purchased by me on 03/ 09/ 07.
The Humber spent its entire life in Skegness and with just 4 owners from new in its entire life from 1963 what an incredible piece of history.
It had a very expensive restoration an old restoration which still looks spot on today it comes in its 1960’s original colours in sage green and dove grey there’s hardly any of them left now in this colour a proper 1960’s look.
The Humber Sceptre Series 1 comes with overdrive which works perfectly it has a very tight feel when driving this car and as most of you know this model has become a very rare car the pictures do no justice I have tried to take up close pictures to show you how good it is but you really need to see it for your self’s.
All chrome work has been done and looks excellent and as we all know this can be very expensive running into hundreds of pounds will come with 12 months mot ready for you to enjoy
