This stunning Triumph Stag was supplied new by A. G Wilson Ltd of Leeds. The car left the factory in Carmine Red with Chestnut upholstery and had the following equipment; Cast-Alloy wheels, Overdrive, Hard Top, Sundym tinted glass, Laminated windscreen, Intertia reel seat belts, Headrests and 185-14 Avon tyres.
We know this exceptional Triumph very well having having sold it several times over the past 12 years. Since we've known the car it has covered around 11000 miles and comes back to us with a mileage, believed genuine of 57, 000. We have a set of MOT's and service history back to 1981 and the service book contains 19 service stamps and many receipts dating back to the cars early life.
This Stag has been kept in outstanding condition with the most beautiful original upholstery and comes with its original hard top. Seats, carpets, door cards and walnut dash are all beautiful. The body work is also in excellent condition with stunning paint having been fully re-painted a few years back. The manual Stag drives perfectly and can only be described as 'A1 Condition'. The original engine is beautifully clean and detailed with chrome rocker covers and superbly detailed ancillaries and inner wings. In 2017 in the region of £12, 000 was spent on the car to include a full engine rebuild, new clutch, clutch master cylinder, brake master cylinder, new engine mounts, coolant hoses, engine bay detailing and various other mechanical work.
