We are delighted to present our stunning 1964 Humber Septre mk1. A beautiful example presented in Goodwood green metallic with contrasting black leather interior. Presented in fabulous all round condition, I have just driven the car on a 500 mile journey and she performed effortlessly and without fault. Having been maintained meticulously over the years this is by far the best I have seen.
As you can see from the photos the paint work is in excellent condition. An older restoration, the car was restored back in the 90s but has held up remarkably well. The car has no rot or rust bubbles and the floors of the car are in exceptional condition. The chrome work is also excellent. With no visible pitting or damage, it’s a joy to behold a car that’s in as good as condition as this.
As for the interior, this is my favorite part of the car. The interior is feels virtually unused. The seats are so comfortable and have no visible wear. All the dash clocks work perfectly and the cabin is such a lovely place to be. All toggle switches work as they should along with the overdrive switch on the dash. It truly is time warp being in a car that has been put together as well as this humber.
Mechanically this car is superb. The head has been reworked and converted to unleaded. The alternator has been upgraded and an electric fan fitted. Along with this work, the car has just had a major service including new tyres, battery and a full stainless steel exhaust has been fitted. She has also been fitted with a period Rootes badge bar and period 576 spot lamps the car looks amazing.
Complete with a huge service history including original service book, tax discs, owners manuals, receipts, original period log book and much more. This is an excellent opportunity to own an amazing 60s saloon that needs nothing but a new owner. Any inspection welcome, this car will pass any test.
