1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce Boat tail (Duetto)
Original factory RHD example. One of the very last manufactured, June 1969.

1470 Chassis number, 105. 58 model number.
Supplied with a nice history file, containing the original build sheet, handbook, 2 sets of keys and details of all works carried out.
The bodywork is very good with straight panelwork. Wheel arches, perfect doors, inner wings, outer wings, sills, shuts, channels all completely corrossion free.
In 2013 Cloverleaf Cars of Gloucester carried out replacement of floor pans.
The boot floor and spare wheel well is perfect and untouched, the bodyshell number is still stamped into the boot floor.
Chrome plated parts and stainless steel brightwork are all good.
Lights are original and correct with no cracks or other damage to mar them. Even the Perspex headlight covers are original and of requisite Carello manufacture.
A new black mohair hood of the highest quality has recently been fitted. At the same time, the opportunity was taken to strip down the hood frame itself and have the painted elements refinished in powder coated black, to match the appearance of the original finish.
The original matching hood bag is also supplied and remains in superb condition.
The Steel wheels are all perfect, having just been refurbished along with brand new hubcaps fitted, tyres are Uniroyal and are 'as new'.
Having recently been the subject of some judicial renovation work, the interior is a delight. The dashboard has been removed and refinished in order to eliminate a handful of scratches accumulated over the last 47 years. At the same time, all the original switches and gauges have been cleaned and tested, but the rev counter still remains temperamental, and all wiring behind the dashboard similarly checked.
Mechanically the car is extremely strong. Subject to being set up on a rolling road, the car starts perfectly and behaves impeccably on the road. Perfect oil pressure is maintained at all temporatures.
The 5 speed gearbox was subject to a rebuild in 2013, with minimal mileage since.
Callipers, hoses, discs, pads etc were all renewed in 2017.
The car has been used for several jaunts to Goodwood and Silverstone, and behaved without any concern. Set up as a fantastic driving car, this example is ready to be used and enjoyed.
With other 1750's being advertised for £50, 000 plus, and examples very recently making that figure at auction this example gives an enthusiast a great opportunity to purchase an all time classic and ultimate example of the Alfa Romeo Spider.
A more than presentable example with a lot of time and thought gone into making it a safe and very useable drivers car.
