SUMMARY
Originally supplied by Mercedes-Benz of Bradford, this W211 E320 Elegance vehicle was owned for the majority of its life by two neighbours, one buying the car from the other, when it was around five years old; both owners kept the car garaged during their respected tenures. Also, when this car first came to me back in 2016, seat covers had been fitted since almost new, so the leather underneath is in incredible condition. I subsequently sold it in 2016 at just 55, 000 miles, the owner, a good customer of mine then covered a further 7, 000 miles in the time he owned it, mainly using it for longer trips. In that time it was serviced twice by a respected Mercedes Specialist. Service history is both full and been performed by either the supping main dealer or by respected MB specialists. The car will be serviced again my me pre sale too . Also with this being a local car, I have the benefit of knowing the specialist who serviced car throughout the tenure of the second owner, who tell me that everything that needed doing, was done, regardless of cost.
This is a truly beautiful car; the bodywork is superb, while interior is almost as new; the expensive optional panoramic opening sunroof really is the icing on the cake, and makes an already special car, feel very special indeed. Drive quality, as you'd expect of a very well maintained Mercedes, is amazing, while the ride, can only be described as both fluid and totally un-fussed, as this is the much more compliant Elegance specification model. The wafting experience is further enhanced by the effortless super smooth M112 3. 2 Litre V6 power plant. I have to say this is one of the most relaxing and comfortable cars I've ever driven; it makes extremely short work of distance, as you hardly notice the miles go by. Being a 2002 vehicle, it also benefits from cheaper road tax too, yet it certainly defies its years, and I'm sure with a private plate on it, your neighbours will think you've won the lottery, as this still looks, feels and drives every bit the near £40K car it once was!.
So in summary, one of the better W211 E-Class, with on the market, and quite a rare E320 V6 Petrol model; you'll find most are diesels. If you've never driven one, the W211 is probably the most accomplished car of its era and even though this car is almost 16 years old, it still has that new feel about it.
THE MTSV DIFFERENCE
Unlike some, I don’t just simply go out, buy any old car, give it a good clean, then advertise it for more than the purchase price, disregarding any issues the car may have in the hope the new buyer won’t notice…I just couldn’t do that.
