In the present ownership for the past seventeen years, this 1959 ‘Frogeye’ Sprite was restored to a high standard some years ago and has only covered around 1000 miles since.
Correctly finished in Cherry Red, with red trim, the car is in very good order in all respects and drives very well, having been fitted with a 1275cc engine/ gearbox. We are told that the rear axle ratio is the 3. 9 from the later series Sprite also.
The hood, widescreens and tonneau cover are all in first class condition and there is much evidence that the car has been lovingly maintained.
One of the most characterful of all British sports cars, the Frogeye is well catered for by the enthusiastic Midget & Sprite Club and benefits from excellent spares availability.
Amongst the documentation is a Heritage Certificate plus a log of journeys undertaken in the current ownership.
