We have owned this lovely little Fiat Cinquecento Sporting for over 3 years now and the time has come to find it a new home. We have used it throughout last summer and have enjoyed every minute of it. It has just benefitted from a complete brake system overhaul, front and rear.
A genuinely lovely little Fiat Cinquecento Sporting which has covered just 48, 739 miles since new. Always maintained and loved throughout it's life, it is completely corrosion free and unmolested. Having never been welded or accident damaged/ painted, the car really is very nice.
Once a very popular little car for the masses. I think that we have all either owned one of these or known someone that did. Where have they all gone now? You just don't see them anymore. We purchased this car around three years ago and the plan was that my daughter would use it for a bit of fun once she passed her driving test... the reality is, she won't. It has just been sat in a corner and covered over, started regularly and run up to temperature. The head gasket has been replaced and the car runs as good as new. We will get a full 12 months MOT prior to sale. It has got a fully stamped Fiat service history up to around 36, 000 miles. For approximately seven years prior to us buying it, it was owned by a Fiat main dealer Technician/ Service Manager who just stored the car in his garage and serviced and mot'd it each year... covering very, very little miles.
Still wearing all of it's factory fitted panels and paint, the Imola Blue paintwork is in lovely condition. You will only find some small and touched in stone chips and a very small scuff to the near side front bumper corner. The interior is again in very good condition. The seats are still in excellent shape. The carpet is clean and damage free and the headlining is nice and clean and tight. The electric front windows are fully operational and all switch gear is in perfect working order. The boot carpet is stain and damage free and the whole boot area seems to have had very little use over the years. The original and correct 13" alloy wheels are in an un-refurbished and original state. They have got a few marks and scuffs, but they are certainly presentable. They are all shod with virtually new tyres.
The car drives really well and we have always been incredibly fond of small Fiats. They are just so simple, yet they still have bags of character. It always, always starts first turn of the key and it never fails to put a smile on your face. Good examples of these are now getting nigh on impossible to find. The odd ones that do come up for sale seem to be well used and in various states of decay. This car is great for a bit of retro fun and is more than a safe investment in our eyes. It really is a lovely, lovely, original example. Complete with the current V5 registration document, full hand book pack in the original Fiat wallet, three original keys including the all important Red master key, stamped service book and various old mot certificates.
We advertised this car around 18 months ago and agreed a sale on it within a day or two, however we decided we just couldn't part with it. It is now here to sell.
