Recently arrived in Part-exchange and now ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian! Here we have a lovely 1970 1200cc Beetle finished in Rosso Red with Dark Tan Interior Trim. This car has had the benefit of a Full Body-off Restoration completed some years ago, and with only minimal use since. The floor pans and underside are immaculate after sandblasting and then painting with ‘Raptor’ finish protective coating. Whilst stripped the car was treated to many new parts including Steering, Suspension and Brakes. ‘Limebug’ Fully Adjustable Front Beam and Drop Spindles are fitted, giving adjustable ride heights.
The engine was fully rebuilt with all new internals and most ancillaries replaced with new or reconditioned parts as appropriate. This includes the Carburetor, ‘CSP’ Alloy Rocker Covers, ‘Vintage Speed’ S/ S Exhaust, Alternator Conversion etc. Similarly the gearbox was rebuilt and now sports a ‘Black Mamba’ Ali Gearshifter! This Vintage look is completed by the fitting of some lovely ‘BRM’ Alloy Wheels with low-profile tyres.
