Selling as a restoration project that has been stood many years, this very rare Vauxhall Firenza has only had 5 owners from new. The last owner has owned the car since February 1985, over 34 years.
We believe this Vauxhall Firenza to be the top of the range model 2300 sport SL, as it has the 7 dial dash and the centre console with the heater controls and warning light, however please make your own enquiries.
We have been informed that this Firenza is well known within the hot rod circles and featured in 1970-1980 at Belle Vue raceway. Also when purchased brand new in 1972 it was taken for the hot rod conversion straight away, so has more than likely been in this guise all of its life.
The Folie Bergere link we haven't been able to find out about overly however have found old photographs on the internet and been told that the custom paint job was used for advertisement of the shows.
Now just under 47 years old, once the vehicle is restored it will class as a historic vehicle benefiting from tax and MOT exemption.
This seems a very worthwhile and rare restoration project that will require some welding. Engine is free however we have not tried to get it running.
The Firenza comes with a clear HPI certificate. Having been stood many years there is no MOT VOSA history for the car and unfortunately any paper history has been lost for the vehicle.
Mileage on speedometer reads - 7685 miles.
