1981 Delorean DMC 12 Project for light restoration / recommissioning.
This car has a Black interior and automatic transmission. It runs, drives, changes gear and stops. I have the U. S. title (US V5) , and a clean car fax report. I imported the car in 2018 and it is on the NOVA system with all EU / UK import tax and VAT paid, If you are registering the car in the uk, it is a simple process once the car has passed an MOT.
The good:
Complete car, runs, drives, changes gear, and stops. Lights, wipers, windows, mirrors and radio work.
Some areas of improvement:
This is a project car and as such there will be things that need to be fixed sorted and serviced and repaired. The lower 6-7 inches below the vinyl decal of the car has been painted black, I can see evidence of panel damage underneath the paint on the passenger side (LHD car) I imagine the drivers side has been painted to match as this looks to be on the surface. Keep it as it is, have the stainless repaired, replace the panels (all are available) repaint the lower part, or have it wrapped. There is a small crack in the dash near the glove box lid, and the binnacle also has some cracking.
Parts availability is very good, cheap and easy to obtain from suppliers in the UK the EU and the U. S. as well as your local motor factors! Keep in mind the car is now 38 years old, and as such, it is sold as it is, where it is, as a project.
