I am offering my DeLorean for sale.
It dates from September 1982, VIN 17118. Manual gearbox.
Canadian origin, full ownership history, quite a bit of technical and historical documentation.
So the odometer shows less than 77, 000 miles.
It is on a historic vehicle registration. This car has an exceptionally good body, no significant dents, no deformations.
It is equipped with air conditioning.
My aim is to have it fully detailed (optional).
Bumpers and plastics are not deformed or discoloured.
The chassis and steel subframes are also in excellent condition.
The whole lot has been stripped to bare metal (original raw epoxy) to allow a full inspection.
No corrosion on the chassis. Also no deformations, dents, or welds, including on plastic and fibreglass parts.
The interior is also in excellent condition. No cracking on the dash, seats not torn or discoloured. Carpets present.
The engine and its bay are also in excellent condition. It has been completely overhauled by a specialist in Canada for its original fuel injection, and here all fluids have been renewed.
New timing cover gasket (for inspection), so rocker cover gaskets as well.
There are some "modernised" parts, including the fuel pump (with gauge), radio with enclosure and amp (not my choice). The original radio may be supplied.
New front suspension/ steering ball joints. [...]
All instruments are working. There is no central locking.
The side window lifter appears misaligned (window not straight). This is also on my to-do list.
I would like to enjoy it a bit longer, so I’m not in a hurry.
I can provide more photos after servicing, but all documentation/ invoices and details must be seen on site.
I am able to deliver the vehicle anywhere in France, including neighbouring countries.
I am, of course, open to serious discussion on site only.
But the asking price is very close to my target.
I have a large stock of spare parts and consumables.
The vehicle is currently viewable in the Chaumont area (52) for now. It may be repatriated to Nancy, at my place, occasionally.
