This particular Peugeot 205 GTI 1. 9 is really rather special, having been originally supplied new by SEIBU Peugeot Japan for the Japanese domestic market in very rare right hand drive 5 speed manual specification. Presented in stunning condition throughout having covered 65, 534 miles from new and complete with the most detailed and complete Peugeot service history we’ve ever seen for a car of this age from Japan with regular on the dot servicing carried out right throughout the cars life from present all the way back to the cars first dealer service at 5000 miles. Two Peugeot keys and all original manuals are also present.
This car has undergone a light cosmetic and mechanical restoration in the UK to present the car to show standard. A full bare metal/ glass out and door shuts respray in original body colour has been carried out by MW bodyshop, renowned for their work on Aston Martin vehicles. Along with extensive mechanical work the a/ c system has also been completely overhauled at great expense with a brand new R134a compressor conversion fitted, new oe Peugeot genuine condenser plus a/ c lines and seals to ensure this hottest of classic hot hatches can now be enjoyed in the cool.
