One of 250 cars built by Ford SA for homologation in Group 1 Touring car racing which they then dominated. Long list of special OE parts fitted inc. 5L Boss 302 Mustang engine, modified cam, special Holley 4V 780 cfm carb, T5 gearbox, special Granada based rear diff and driveshafts. Revised suspension geometry, uprated springs, dampers, antiroll bars. AP 4-pot, vented disc front brakes, ATE rear disc brakes, Special Ronal 15x6 inch wheels.
All 250 cars were 5-door, Diamond white, grey velour seats, had an "XR4i" type rear spoiler and front wheel arch extensions. Early in it's life this car had "Cosworth" style bonnet vents fitted.
I have quite a lot of old paper work going back to it's days in SA. Recent MOT. I have reduced the price as I need to sell.
