1961 Vauxhall F Type Victor Deluxe 1508 cc 3 Speed Column Change , Great looking Vauxhall with its Transatlantic looks . I know the first thing your thinking , "They Rotted" , Yes they did but this one appears to have been an exception to the rule . There appears to be NO major perforation corrosion upon this F Type . Its sills are excellent along with the floor pans and door bottoms . The boot floor and inner wing panels are excellent as are the inner front wings . Its had some repairs but they have been carried out very well . As to the body work again its not showing signs of blisters or holes . Its been treated to "Anti Rust" which has protected it but it looks awful . So that's the tin wear explained . Chrome work is present and some spare trim is included . Some will be ok and some needs re chrome and repair . The seats have been re trimmed along with the door panels and the carpet is serviceable . The headlining is also good but needs a clean . It starts without effort and does not rattle or smoke and to be honest I am surprised how well it drives . Gears and clutch operation are excellent and its braking is good and straight . Tyres and exhaust are serviceable so its drivable . Comes with V5C and associated paper work . HPi (Clear) . Not many have lasted so its unusual to see and it would make a very , very nice F Type with some effort but its not major stuff that is required , Paint , Some chrome and a bit of spit and polish . Its been with its last owner for 11 years being dry stored . Viewing welcome .
