This beautiful Orient Red W123 is in superb original condition. It has never been restored but evidently well cared for and has absolutely zero corrosion.
Sold new in 1981 in Japan by the Western Automobile Company – then the sole importers of MB cars – and remained there until it was imported into the UK in 2016. There has been one owner in the UK.
This pre-facelift example was specified in Orient Red with tan cloth trim, it has electric windows front and rear, factory air conditioning, automatic gearbox, central locking and power steering.
Only 116k km have been covered since new, equivalent to 72k miles.
Thanks to a lifetime away from salt the body condition on this W123 is incredible. Perfect underneath and the paintwork on top is lovely and largely original. The interior is in very good order too and again all original.
On the road this 230 performs beautifully with all the refinement that makes these cars a joy to drive. Thanks to recent work, for which we have the bills, it is a very well sorted example.
