Ely Devino and his wife run a very successful luxury tile & stone installation company and they welcomed us to their beautiful home set on a hillside amongst the pines. It became clear Ely was a lifetime “Mustang Guy” and the house had been built over an enormous workshop where the S Code sat next to his current project a 68 Fastback in Highland Green. Ely explained he had found the Californian built 390 Coupe in great original condition and had decided to build a really high-performance Mustang with a unique look that would give the car a hint of modern supercar styling with its totally De-Chromed appearance. Under the radical exterior lies a highly modified Wildy Powerful Mustang, Ely estimates the 390 V8 he rebuilt produces over 400 BHP and it needed a handling package to meet its demands. The engine creates a glorious symphony of sound that lets the bystander know the car is very special but from the driver's seat, the true nature of this car becomes quickly evident.
