Beschreibung
1932 Model 2 New Imperial 350 sv. It is a 1990’s restoration by the previous owner. My wife bought it for me in January 2019 for a 70th birthday surprise. Unfortunately as I’m 6’ 2” tall and weigh over 16 stones I’m rather too big for the overall size of the bike. It would be ideal for a rider of smaller stature.
It has coil ignition which was an option from new.
The 3 brush dynamo has been converted to 2 brush and has an electronic voltage regulator concealed under the saddle.
Cold and hot starting is excellent.
It has total loss lubrication with Pilgrim pump.
Brakes are good.
The bike from new was not equipped with an odometer. I use a portable GPS device clipped onto the handlebars for speed and mileage. This is not included in the sale.
It carries its original valuable Somerset registration YD6175 from 31/ 12/ 1932 and has a V5 in my name.
There’s a spare crankcase with cylinder, a crankcase with crank and a dynamo all included. Also lots of paperwork, handbooks and a green logbook from the 1960's.
It's a very pretty bike which I will be sorry to part with.
