A majestic W126 420SEL finished in Brilliant Silver with black leather with only 40k miles from new and full service history.
Supplied new by Mercedes Edgware Road in April 1991, this long-wheelbase S-Class was equipped with the 4. 2-litre V8 engine, leather upholstery, air conditioning and reading lights in the rear. The full specification is listed below.
With such a low mileage this W126 presents beautifully, the body and the interior are superb with superb paintwork, unmarked wheels and bumper chromes, and the leather interior is in beautiful condition and original even down to the rear foot rests, Blaupunkt stereo and car phone – de rigueur for any S-Class in the late eighties and early nineties.
All original books and manuals come with the car including the service book containing seven stamps. HPI clear. Four previous keepers.
We have just carried out a major service/ recommission which included replacement of the water pump, new front calipers, discs and pads and lower front ball joints amongst other work to ensure this S-Class remains in excellent mechanical condition.
One of the most elegant large saloons of its era, the W126 Mercedes remains an event to drive with comfort, presence and character that is hard to find in the luxury cars of today. This 420SEL drives particularly well thanks to its low mileage and recent maintenance and is in lovely order throughout.
