Wonderful original right-hand drive Rolls-Royce 20/ 25 Barker Sedanca de Ville with only 67, 337 miles on the odometer. This is a late-series Rolls-Royce 20/ 25 retaining its close-coupled continental Sedanca de Ville coachwork by Barker & Co, Ltd, Rolls-Royce preferred coach-builder prior to its association with Park Ward. Dry stored for over 35 years, the car remains in outstandingly original condition. It was re-commissioned 18 years ago and painstaking restored to a very high standard. It is finished in Masons black over ivory with a black Everflex top and a natural brown hide trimmed interior, the later featuring fully fitted cocktail cabinets. Other notable features include slide-out continental touring rack located beneath the protruding rear trunk, and concealed flashing indicators.

The car was purchased by the current Danish owner in 2015 from a prominent British classic car dealer (invoice included in sale). The current owner has spent over 4, 000 Euros in service and maintenance during his ownership, and the car is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition with just the correct amount of patina. The Rolls-Royce is the epitome of British luxury and this 1935 Rolls-Royce 20/ 25 is a fantastic car that can be driven and enjoyed as-is for many years to come.

History of the Rolls-Royce 20/ 25:
Built between 1929 and 1936, it was tremendously popular, becoming the most successful selling inter-war Rolls-Royce. Its success enabled Rolls-Royce to survive the economic difficulties of the Great Depression years and remain one of the world's great brands. A total of 3, 827 20/ 25s were produced, of which over 70% are still on the road today.

The 20/ 25 also enabled Rolls-Royce Ltd to quickly capitalize on its 1931 acquisition of Bentley Motors Ltd. As part of integrating its acquisition, Rolls-Royce management discontinued the Bentley 8-liter car due to the perceived market overlap with the Phantom II. This meant the acquisition brought with it the Bentley brand, debt and engineers and manufacturing employees with no product to produce. They quickly decided to create a new Bentley using the 20/ 25 engine. This formed the basis of the first Derby Bentley – the 3. 5-liter Bentley. The "Silent Sports Car" as they become known were highly successful and were another major contribution of the 20/ 25 to the success of Rolls-Royce Ltd.

Originally 93% of 20/ 25 were sold within the UK but due to their global popularity as a drivable, eloquent pre-war motor car, they have migrated across the globe. Today only 38% of the remaining cars are still in the UK, 20/ 25s now reside in over 50 different countries.
