Advertising on behalf of a friend who is not internet savvy. This car has been in the UK since new and was first registered in October 1947 ! It's a factory RHD car . The owner has a current V5 in his name and the reg number is BUI 47 !!!!!!! It is transferable, but obviously that would be a shame.
The car has the 110 BHP Buick Fireball straight 8 and 3 speed column shift manual gearbox. The car has been unused for thirty years and has been poorly stored . Amazingly, it is on the button ( albeit petrol feed out of a can) and runs and drives . It has no brakes and obviously needs going through from one end to the other.
Rust has taken a hold and you better know a good welder. Worst bits upon a quick inspection are both sills, the drivers floor and the boot floor and lower rear panel / boot lip. The car obviously has a separate chassis and upon a cursory inspection, that appears solid. The car appears to be complete apart from two hub caps and the n/ s front wing trim. Alas, not much is known about the car before it was taken off the road in 1989. I am sure it could tell some amazing stories. If anybody knows anything about the car and its past, please let me know. The car can be viewed in Gerrards Cross just west of London.
