A beautiful V8 R107 SL in pure ’70s Icon Gold.
HISTORY
Our SL was registered in the Channel Island of Jersey in November 1978 to a wealthy hotelier and stayed on the island with him until 2017 where it underwent a sympathetic restoration, including a very high-quality re-paint. It has had a total of two UK owners. Pictures are available of this work. The service book shows 15 entries, the last in 2016 at 81, 970 miles. The current mileage is 82, 870 and in our possession it has had a new oil and filter service and rear silencer. This car has ULEZ exemption and is tax and MOT exempt. However, the car has a new MOT valid until November 2020 and both advisories have been addressed.
SPECIFICATION
Icon gold with mushroom Mercedes Benz Tex and a chocolate brown canvas roof and Zebrano wood trim. Power steering, wind-up windows, original radio, fog lights, hardtop, manual wing mirrors.
CONDITION
Stunning unmarked bodywork, unmarked seats and a very smart interior, hardtop headlining is unmarked, hubcaps are in extremely good condition, tyres all have plenty of tread, canvas roof is nearly new. The underside is corrosion free and well protected and there are no issues with the bulkhead. We have the full book pack, a full set of keys and a clear Experian car check.
