We at Craner Classic Cars are now offering this 1985 Ford Granada Ghia X Estate with automatic transmission, a very well maintained and solid example of what in its day was Ford's top-of-the-range model in its most premium range. Forget Fiestas, Escorts, Capris, and Cortinas, the Granada was the businessman's Ford of choice, and the Ghia X designation meant the car was complete with all the extra refinements to be expected of the top executive model.
That means central locking, air conditioning, power steering, electric windows front and back, electric sunroof and mirrors, twin spotlights, front fog lights, heated electric front seats, interior wood trim, electronic boot release. The photographs also reveal that the car's extensive chromework is in absolutely excellent condition.
This particular car comes in the one of the best colour combinations too - cobalt blue and slate.

It's a very solid example - excellent wheel arches and no rust or bubbles, and it's worth emphasizing that the underside is in remarkably good condition, as the photos show. There aren't so very many of these left now, and few can be in such good conditon as this example.
The driving experience is similarly top-notch - the 2. 8-liter Cologne V6 engine and automatic gearbox perform flawlessly to deliver a very smooth drive, and the car is extremely comfortable as well. The original seats are wonderful to sink into - the Ghia X was clearly aimed at the executive owner. In addition, the car comes across as a very useful vehicle, being the estate version, with all that space in the back and masses of torque to drive it along. Plus towbar and roofrack for full-on excursions!
The car It still bears the characteristic original Granada alloy wheels, adding to its allure as a true 1980s classic, and best of all it's a real pleasure to drive.
