Very few were built, (no more are planned now), and of the few that were.... most are buried in long term ownership and are prize possessions so wont be seen for sale anytime soon if at all, this could be a unique opportunity!
This estate version, a very well known car in MB Club circles, was 1 of a small handful of these very special W123 V8 bespoke conversions personally built by the industry renowned Martin Marrocco Classic Mercedes Benz Restoration Specialists around the early 2010`s to order for a small select number of his best clients, this one in question was for a private collector was completed around 2013, and is 1st time to market.
An incredible feat of engineering, each of the small handful of cars built started life as a carefully sourced UK RHD base car, be it coupe, saloon or estate.. only the best cars were used as the workmanship and investment in time and money to follow was extensive to say the least!, another donor car was then sourced a 500SEC for power plant and mechanical/ electrical, and the 2 fused in this incredible feat of engineering, which including bespoke wiring looms, engine swapping, suspension, brake, bodywork, and wheel modifications, to name but a few..
Owned since 2011, and in a private collection since the very carefully selected base car was just a 3 previous owner car prior to this with sensible miles prior to conversion
