1993 Mercedes-Benz 200TE
A running and driving example of the well-loved W124 estate with MoT until August 2020.
Smoke Silver metallic with black cloth, front electric windows, driver’s airbag and seven seats.
This is a crossover car with the pre-facelift body but the more modern 16-valve EFI 2-litre engine coupled to the usual four-speed automatic.
Previous owner for years and years. All books and manuals. Part service history. 161, 433 miles.
Recent work in the summer of 2019 included a service, new rear brake lines, new rear brake flexible hoses, a replacement power steering/ self-levelling pump and new fluid. Plus, a replacement kickdown relay. Matching recent Falken tyres X4 with lots of tread.
While it’s solid underneath and has good inner wings it’s a bit scruffy with some areas of rust, dents and battle scars. The driver’s seat has the usual wear and there are various things that could do with attention. Was in daily use until recently and was reliable.
All in all, it’s a very cheap W124 estate that you can drive away and has a long MoT.
