Update 29. 7. 2020Took the van in for an MOT yesterday and it passed with no advisories, so MOT till July 2021
We have had a few questions asked, and here are the answers:
Generator: its a Loncin 3500i petrol with LPG adapter with 106 hours running time. we bought this new as the back up, so has very low hours, life expectancy 15 + years!!
It runs for 8-10 hours depending on load, on a tank of petrol (9ltr tank), but will run everything if your in a field
Coffee machine: This is bolted in, but is easily removable. The boiler test certificate is now out of date, and will need renewing before you commence business. (no point having it done until its required)
Price for the van only: We want to sell the business and the van, as we are unlikely to sell the business as a standalone option, so if you are only interested in the van, £35, 000, so it does make more sense to buy the business as a package. We have made the decision to sell our fabulous and famous Van Chaud, (a play on hot van in French)
This is a 1969 Citroen HZ van. Restored in 2011/ 12 by a local coach builder (Euro horsebox & campers Mair Hills) & Citroen specialist (Richard Dalton Ltd Newcastle under Lyme)
Including lots of new parts (brakes mainly) some welding, not much as the body is in good condition, and resprayed in its original Gris metal colour, a champagne silver. Serving hatch fitted at this time.
The original 1600 petrol was removed and a rebuild (by Bradbury Engineering) 1911 cc engine fitted in 2017. The new engine has had the crank re-ground, new shells, balanced bottom end, new 1911cc liners & high top pistons fitted, and lead free head conversion, so runs on unleaded.
Also a 123 electronic distributor fitted, so no messing with points gap. An immobilizer was also fitted.
The van drives well, straight and comfortable, with regular trips of 50-60 miles at 45mph as a comfortable speed when your loaded up, faster (if you dare) when empty. All the branding on the van is magnetic, so easily removed.
The roof sign is also removable, as is the Fiamma Caravanstore zip awning canopy, (in the bag on the O/ S of the van), it slides out of the fixed top rail.

Current one runs to July 2021, with free road tax.
The van is always kept in a large dry barn since 2011, and has had very little to no use over the winter months, hasn't seen snow or salt!

New worktop & new cupboards, new non slip flooring, new white alloy internal roof lining (insulated) fitted in Jan 2019Rear half doors are opened during service to provide laminated work top over optional freezer & fridge/ storage under.

We also offered Staffordshire Oatcakes (look them up if you don't know them) from 2 fixed and one movable Krampouz 35cm LPG crepe plates. (3rd one used at weddings & corporate events).
Everything needed to continue running this business is included in the sale, way to much to list here. 18 chairs and 6 tables also included, to create the Cafe ambience at any event. Also 1x tea urn, 1 x under counter fridge, till, drinks display fridge, Generator, cables, lights, Caravan store Awning & canopy, water roles, waste tank, LPG pipes, menu boards, the lot.

We have priced the van and business to sell, with expected payback being less than 1 seasons work, based on recent seasons turnover.
We operated the business as part of our life style, so not out every day, and primarily from May to October with a few exceptions for corporate clients, which leaves a lot of additional scope for the new owners.
Is the van perfect, no!
There are areas on the body work that will need attention next winter.
I have 2 front light repair panels and backing support panels that come with the van.
Mechanically its all good as are tyres, with the spare unused. StockWe have some stock of coffee beans, assorted tea, consumables including over 7000 branded compostable cups, 3000 compostable lids & branded reusable cup carriers to rent or sell at events.
We bought the van in its basic form from - details above in 2011.
