Non Sunroof model so no rust issues associated from blocked drain tubes

These old Volvo estate cars are often referred to as tanks, but we need to set the record straight… Although they were robust and notoriously sturdy in a crash, the Volvo 240 Estate weighs less than a modern Ford Focus.
Tipping the scales at just 1300kg, the Volvo has plenty of performance from it’s 2. 0 litre fuel injected engine and doesn’t lumber around like many would have you believe.
Sure, it’s not agile like a Lotus Elise, but don’t expect driving this car to be laborious - it’s really not. It’s also important to remember just how good this platform was as a rally car, they are still hugely popular in Scandinavia for hooning around forest tracks
A genuine modern classic , the 240 Models can be used every day. Comfortable, reliable, safe and roomy, if it wont fit in a Volvo estate it will fit on it!!
