The Silver Arrow special edition was designed to commemorate the Silver Arrow racing cars of the 30s and today represents one of the most collectable and comprehensively equipped models of the R129 range.
The specification includes AMG body styling, special two-piece alloy wheels, a panoramic (glass) hard top, xenon headlamps, larger diameter drilled brakes and unique trim throughout the car. This is in addition to the usual features found on high-specification SLs including memory, orthopaedic seats, climate control and cruise control.
First registered on the third of September 2001 by S G Smith of Crystal Palace for a Mr Davies of Bromley who has been the car’s sole owner. The service book contains nine stamps as follows –
