This super early UK supplied example was purchased by David Orange -Austin 7 Guru-in 2010 as a complete original car in running condition . The decision to restore the MG was a lifetime dream for the family. Unfortunately after David had done all the hard engineering work he became terminally ill and passed away. I was asked to find a good home for the project and the TD was duly completed in 2018. Probably one of the best original specification TD's available on the market. The restoration included powder coating and rechroming of all original items. All fittings are stainless steel.
Upgrades include stainless steel exhaust system and Ford 5 speed gear box-all instruments were sent to Speedograph Richfield.
A Phoenix crankshaft and rods were fitted during the engine rebuild which included a lead free cylinder head.
A big history file including receipts-original buff RF60 log book.
New mohair weather equipment and tonneau cover are supplied .
Not many in this condition and driving so sweetly and balanced.
Just 220 miles since restoration completed
