This 1990 300SE has been supplied by ourselves twice in the past and it remains one of the cleanest most original W126s we have seen.
Finished in Arctic White with optional navy blue velour interior. It’s a high specification car with climate control, electric front seats, driver’s airbag and cruise control.
Full Service History from new comprising of 13 service records, the last completed by ourselves. All original books/ manuals in the original leather pouch.
Having come from a dry climate this car is 100% corrosion free and remarkably 100% original paint. The underside, brake/ fuel lines, inside of the bumper chromes all look near new. All factory paint marks are clearly visible underneath. You could not get better.
As a precautionary measure the rear window has been removed (zero corrosion as expected) and resealed and the underside has been coated in clear Dinitrol wax to keep it as good as it is.
The body, being as it left the factory has perfect shut lines and a beautiful paint finish. The 15-hole wheels are in excellent order and wear recent matching tyres all round.
The interior is simply glorious – velour was an expensive option and feels very retro and luxurious. The upholstery is not marked or faded. The Zebrano wood is bright and undamaged. It still feels like a new car inside.
A refurbished MPH speedo, set to the correct conversion figure is fitted and the original KMPH instrument comes with the car.
On the road the car performs with all the quiet, refined manners you’d expect from such a low mileage beautifully cared for car. The climate control, cruise control and all other accessories work perfectly.
This car scored very highly at a 2017 Mercedes club concours event, to give an indication of its condition. Since then it has been similarly cossetted and always garaged.
W126 saloons in this condition are extremely scarce. It needs nothing other than to be used and enjoyed.
