Without a doubt one of the most original and enjoyable Strato Chiefs available today.
She was acquired some months ago from a private collection in the Cape area. Said collector purchased her from a museum also in the Cape area. She currently finds herself in yet another private collection and is being put up for sale.
The vehicle is sold with its original set of rims and hubcaps. Photo in the ad. The current set increases the comfort of the drive and the total look of the car. A photo of the car with the original set is also added in the photos.
This particular Chief is running her factory straight 6 engine with a three-on-a-tree manual three speed transmission.
She boasts a very low 58000miles and is ready for the road.
Recent work done was more maintenance and preventative and included brakes, carburettor, starter and some suspension refreshments. Since the vehicle stood in collections and was hardly used this was needed.
An aftermarket radio was installed and works 100%. Nothing cut.
The interior is 100% factory and has never been changed or upholstered. As for the body and paint - she is straight as an arrow and is dressed in her original colour and paint for the majority of the vehicle. There seems to have been a touch up done here and there.
She is sold with her spare keys which opens and closes all the doors and starts the car.
This is a true head turner and a time machine to transport you back to the 60’s.
