MODEL HISTORY
Launched at the Geneva Motorshow in 2001 the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish was described by Road and Track magazine as ‘The ultimate Grand Tourer’. In 2002 it was made famous in the James Bond film Die Another Day, which earned it a number 3 spot in best Film Cars Ever.
Designed by Ian Callum the model features a strong aluminum composite chassis, drive by wire throttle and 6 speed sport shift transmission. Power comes from a 6 litre V12 producing 460 BHP giving the Vanquish a top speed of 190 mph and a 0-60 of 4. 5 seconds. The Vanquish was the last Aston Martin that was produced in any number from Newport Pagnell and is considered the last of the hand-built Astons Martin’s.

Supplied four years ago by Aston Martin Works, this car has an excellent service history from Works, HWM and John McGurk. In 2019 a gearbox upgrade was completed by HWM including a new clutch, pump and magnetic sensors.
