1977 MERCEDES 450 SEL 6. 9
From an era in which Mercedes-Benz build quality and style was unapparelled, the 6. 9 was the Mac Daddy of them all. This example was first registered on the 27thMay 1977 in Paris and is finished in Astral Silver Metallic (735) over Black Leather (201) – a factory option would you believe it, as oh-so-70s velour was standard equipment.
Prior to arriving in the UK the car stayed within single family ownership in Paris, and was used as a daily driver. Under the custodianship of its current owner the car has received extensive mechanical work from 2017 onwards.

New full length stainless steel exhaust
Brakes bleeding and new fluid
Engine and gearbox oil and filter replacement
The result is an on-the-button 6. 9 finished in a true Q-car colour combination and with exceptionally stylish original yellow French headlights. These 6. 9s are astonishing pieces of engineering with hilarious performance and otherworldly levels of cool, and this example wants for nothing.
