This pristine 1998 example is in immaculate condition throughout. This low mileage is backed up by a fully documented service history. Its clear to see, this DB7 has always been correctly maintained, by Aston Martin or well respected Aston specialists. Specification
This Aston is finished in Strathmore Red with a Magnolia leather interior, deep Red carpeting with a parchment alcantara headlining. This DB7 comes with a lovely specification including original stereo, Parrot phone kit, Electric seats, Heated seats, Air conditioning.
This car also benefits from the original compressor for the spare, full toolkit, all keys, Aston car cover etc.
Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
Strathmore Red is a really superb colour that transforms in the sunshine. The quality of the paintwork on this example is second to none, a deep all over shine. Look closer and there are no noticable marks at all, you will be hard pressed to find a better presented DB7.
The Magnolia extended leather interior is the perfect choice. The condition throughout is excellent, again its clear this car has been correctly looked after. The leather extends to the dash and door cards, giving this car the extra quality feel. Take a look at the many interior pictures on our website, it quite amazing how good this interior is. The deep pile carpets look new, the leather on the seats is lovely and soft, the leather on the dash and doors cards also in amazing condition.
The Alloys are all in perfect condition. Look closer, no fading, no marks etc. All are fitted with the correct tyres, all with plenty of tread remaining.
Chassis
The outstanding condition continues, the sills and jacking points are all in excellent condition. Look closer, all the suspension components, the brake lines, all in excellent shape. Its clear to see this car has been garaged through the winters and had very light use.
Engine / Gearbox
The engine fitted to this DB7 is the 3. 2 straight six ‘AJ6’ engine, supercharged and producing 340 BHP. As you would expect for a car with such low mileage and impeccable history, this DB7’s engine sounds and performs perfectly. Oil pressures are all correct hot and cold, this example is free from any oil leaks.
The DB7 features a 4 speed automatic gearbox, with normal and sports mode. The gear change is super smooth and kicks down very quickly when needed.
History
This DB7 was originally supplied by the main dealer ‘Murray Aston Martin’. We have all the original manuals, in their original leather wallet along with a fully stamped original service book. The well organised history folder contains old MOT’s, old tax disks, SORN’s showing the car was stored an unused in winter, a folder full of old service receipts.
The last owner cherished this car. Part of a small but select collection, this car was only used on dry days and stored away in its bespoke car cover indoors when not in use. Despite the low mileage this car has covered, you can see that it was always serviced every year, infact its been serviced no less than 3 times in the last 1000 miles. The owner was very determined that this car would drive and perform perfectly, not suffering for periods unused, always ready to enjoy. He purchased the car from the renowned ‘Chiltern Aston Martin’ , who performed the last 3 services. The collection is being sold to fund a holiday home in Spain, so its now for sale.
