This is a Mk1 Consul Cortina GT 2 door. This is a very early car May 1963 which I have lovingly owned for approximately 8 years and the previous owner was the secretary of the Mk1 owners club who had it for 26 years. The car is in a very original condition not of show quality but a very good usable car. It has had a few upgrades a Kenlow electric fan and braking servo, stainless steel exhaust, 5. 1/ 2 J wheels and tyres. The car has appeared in many magazines over the years of which I have copies and the relevant paperwork. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and drives very well. There are only about 16 of these earlier cortinas left and only 7 that are 2 door, which makes it a rare GT model. The car has been garage kept and MOT’d last year although not required and regularly serviced. Insurance valuation is £24, 000
The car is just off junction 8 off the M25.
