The Humber Sceptre was the family man's sports car of the '60s. This one is powered by a 1600cc engine which runs superbly, helping it keep up with modern traffic, and the car has a solid but nimble feel to it, a great car to drive or to display. Our 55-year-old Sceptre has clearly been well maintained, and the close-ups of the valances show the impressive condition of its paintwork, with the arches, sills and front wings all free of rust.
