Craner Classics Cars are now offering this stunning-looking Humber Hawk, first registered in 1955.

These cars were produced from 1954-1957. 18, 836 were manufactured as 4-door saloons, fitted with 4-speed manual gearboxes and column change with overdrive.
This particular Humber Hawk is powered by a 2267cc straight four with OHV. The main change from the engine of the Mk VI Hawk, introduced in June 1954, was the fitting of an overhead-valve cylinder head. According to Wikipedia,
"The motoring correspondent of The Times claimed that any previous Hawk owner would be "astonished" by the Mark VI's 20 per cent more powerful engine's ability to effortlessly swing the car along at 70 mph."
These cars were once the vehicle of choice of bank managers and solicitors. This is an extremely rare car - according to DVLA records there are only about 12 of these models left. This one here is the Mk 6A with the wooden dashboard and wood trim. The car is in very nice order indeed and drives beautifully with no faults.
