This particular example of the M201 Hotchkiss Jeep was one of William "Bill" Galliers highly regarded restorations.
Bill achieved a reputation as the UK's leading Hotchkiss restorer around 20 years ago
Bill's Jeeps were produced to a standard not previously encountered
Indeed we have the sales invoice from Bill for £10, 250 dated 1st June 2002, when it was commissioned by the previous owner.
Every option was specified including a replica rifle and rifle holder and the FB "Fat Bastard" driver's seat conversion
This involved carefully creating extra space for the driver to facilitate a more comfortable driving position
Unbelievably this outstanding example has covered just 159 miles during the past 18 years !
This mileage is simply unheard of and substantiated by MOT's and invoices for regular servicing
The previous owner was a meticulous multi-millionaire who insisted on the very best
As a result the Jeep is simply "as good as it gets"
Pretty much perfect in every aspect it's hard to criticize this fabulous vehicle
What's more it drives better than most of the Jeeps I've previously experienced
