A lovely 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E with the very rare manual gearbox option. Having covered just 32, 263 miles since new, it really does present in superb condition throughout and is in to a completely original specification.
This car has formed part of a very varied and impressive private collection and has been carcoon stored for the last 4 years. The previous keeper owned the car for over 10 years. With a fresh mot, exhaust system, oil change and new HT leads, it is now ready to be used and enjoyed.
The Brilliant Silver paintwork remains in lovely order and only the odd minor marks can be found upon closer scrutiny. All bright work is in excellent condition and front head lights and rear light lenses remain clear and free from damage. All weather strips and rubbers are still nice and supple and are consistent with a very low mileage and garaged example. The original supplying dealer number plates remain with the car, although they have delaminated a little. The underside is lovely and clean and the original factory underseal is still present. It is clearly visible for all to see that this example has never suffered from corrosion issues.
Internally, it is just lovely. It is completely original and the factory fitted Blaupunkt radio cassette is still in place and fully functional with the electric aerial. The charcoal cloth seats are superb and are showing no signs of wear at all and all the wood is unmarked and has not lifted anywhere. All door cards, dashboard and all other plastics are in excellent order and the head lining is still tight and ultra clean. All switchgear and gauges are fully functional and working correctly and the electric windows and central door locking work as they should. A lovely cabin that demonstrates the low mileage and well looked after credentials.
All tyres are matching and as new and the original wheel trims are the correct ones. A couple of minor marks can be seen on a couple of the trims, but nothing major or unsightly.
Out on the road, it drives exactly as a Mercedes of this era should. It is very smooth and quiet and free from any knocks, bangs or rattles.
