This first owner purchased the car new from Majestic Garage, Bournemouth in 1988 and kept it until 2016. The second owner over the last four years has invested nearly £20, 000 with John Haynes Mercedes on ensuring this magnificent car remains in excellent order.
The mileage today stands at 105, 494 miles, backed up by an incredible 34 service stamps – 33 from the supplying main dealer, one from John Haynes.
Recent work has included completely refinishing the bodywork, refurbished wheels with new Michelin tyres, new suspension spheres and new injectors.
All original books and manuals come with the car, including the original bill of sale (£47, 477) and detailed invoices of all recent work.
The car is in superb condition throughout. The body is unmarked and corrosion free. The interior is superb and unrestored with unworn original leather and rich, glossy woodwork. It retains its original Mercedes over mats and Blaupunkt Melbourne radio cassette.
Wonderful to drive and supremely comfortable with ample performance and a relaxed gait at speed. This car feels very tight and together.
