Just imagine being the first owner of this incredible tour de force of engineering back in 1966. The size of a small village, more comfort than your living room and ride quality that nobody else could touch. Incredibly rare in RHD.
This particular model is fitted with one of the first ever mechanical fuel injection systems, Mercedes debuted it in 1954 setting the trend of things to come, with most other manufacturers only following suit around 30 years later.
The car is fitted with an electric sunroof and an automatic 4 speed column change gearbox. It is also fitted with a period looking sound system, with USB connectivity, mated to the original parcel shelf speakers, so it is in keeping with the original spec.
The car will also be supplied with a set of later and ever popular “Mexican hat” alloys, should the new owner choose to use them.
The interior is generally in a condition commensurate with its age and would benefit from some TLC / leather care in order to preserve its patina.
On request of the owner, we have fitted all new calipers, flexi lines, discs and pads, along with some new fuel lines so that the car is nice and safe for its new custodian.
