Finished in rare Alexandrite Green metallic with contrasting beige Napa leather, this CL500 is comprehensively equipped with heated/ electric/ memory seats, climate control, cruise control, soft-close, folding mirrors, 18in alloy wheels, Parktronic and much more.
Only 26, 022 were built worldwide with a small proportion coming to the UK. This is a late example, badged CL, that benefits from all of the improvements that addressed the faults of the early cars, notably the revised wiring harnesses that do not degrade, coil on plug ignition, parking sensors and a five-speed automatic gearbox.
Supplied new by Woking Motors in November ’96, this CL led a very easy life, covering just 38k miles by 2015. Over the last five years it has been in regular use with two enthusiast owners, bringing the mileage up to 73k miles.

Very much the last of the over-engineered Mercedes and extremely expensive in their day, these big coupés are tremendous grand tourers and very much modern classics. This is a thoroughly maintained example of the desirable late 500.
