Our brand new recovery truck has just arrived and leads us to sell our well-maintained and reliable Ford Transit transporter.
This is a custom-built truck with extendable folding aluminium ramps, which cut out the problems of getting low-spoiler on and off the bed. I have seen some trucks out there and folk trying to get newly-bought low-spoiler cars onto the bed using blocks of wood and all sorts! You won't have any problems with this truck's ramps and bed. On top of that the ramps are lockable.
There is a powerful winch for when needed and a safety strobe lighting bar. There is also a lockable tool box.
This is probably one of the cleanest Transits you'll find of this age. The engine is a 2. 4-litre Turbo Diesel. It has beefed-up suspension. The underneath of the truck has never been welded, and it has been regularly maintained to a high standard regardless of cost for transporting our classic cars. It has always been in dry storage.
It has now covered just 125, 000 miles and drives absolutely impeccably.
No splits or rips to the seats, everything inside the cab works as it should. Also has air con. To cap it all, this is the rare 6-speed with more than excellent fuel economy. We are only selling this because of the arrival of our brand new custom-built vehicle.
