In constant competition with Moto Guzzi, Gilera presented the Nettuno 250 in 1946. The engine looked tidy and monumental. From 1950, the performance of the Sport version increased to 14 hp. The motor cases and covers were polished. The chassis, thanks to the hydraulically damped telescopic fork, is excellent. In contrast to the more than 27, 000 Moto Guzzi Airones built, only 3, 694 of the Nettuno were built.
The Nettuno offered here was first registered in 1949. The motorcycle was restored 30 years ago. The motorcycle is ready to drive, with an outdated ignition magnet and runs as it should. Original documents are available.
