Description
The Gilera Saturno has a great history. These monumental engines were developed before the war and dominated many racetracks in Italy. In constant competition with Moto Guzzi, Saturno also produced Tursimo and sports models. While the Turismo still retained the cast iron head, aluminum heads were already installed in the sports models. The power has been increased from 18 hp to 22 hp. This Saturno Sport in good restored condition, dates from 1952. An original Italian vehicle registration document is available. Even with a hydraulically damped telescopic fork and rear shock absorbers, the chassis was among the best that existed in the early 1950s.
