motodrome offer for sale this 2001/ Y Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 6 seater finished in Blue with White roof with easyclean grey vinyl interior..
This one started life as a truck cab but at some point has been converted into Station Wagon style, using a proper station wagon roof assembly with the proper internal trim.
It’s fitted with: freestyle alloys shod with a matching set of 4 BFG Mud-terrain tyres, heavy-duty tubular winch bumper, snorkel, front light guards, chequerplate to wingtops, mudflaps all round, and towpack.
Inside it has the original immobiliser, a stereo, centre cubby box, rear bench seats making it a 6 seater, and tailgate ram assistor.
Odometer reading 133000 miles with 9 stamps in the original service book – all main dealer bar the last, by a specialist. There’s a subsequent service bill from the same specialist which isn’t stamped in the book.
Being a factory TD5 version, it nips along very quickly with good punch from the Turbodiesel motor. Although there’s nothing in the service history to confirm it, it may have been Stage 1 chipped as on test it felt a little more lively than usual for a TD5
It comes with MOT to March 2021 and 6 months warranty on sale.
According to the MOT database, it’s never yet failed an MOT on structural corrosion.
This one would make an excellent green laner etc – the paintwork isn’t so wonderful that you’d be worried about scratching it etc – it’s one that you don’t have to be too precious about. One to have fun in.
