A beautiful, facelift R107 300SL in Petrol Blue/ Green metallic with just 82k miles and only two owners from new.
Supplied new by Alan Day Mercedes, London in August 1987. Specified with grey sports check cloth, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, rear seats and a black cloth roof.
The first owner kept the SL from new (changing from his company to his name) until 2019, an impressive 32 years, and has been in the hands of a Mercedes enthusiast and club member since.
All books and manuals, 16 services recorded. In July 2020 it had a major service including power steering fluid, crankshaft damper, new radiator, thermostat and coolant and brake fluid. The wheels have been refurbished and wear recent matching Bridgestone tyres.
This SL presents very well throughout. The body is very clean, the underside and bulkhead are in good, solid condition. The interior is original and nicely preserved. The soft top and the hard top are both original and in good order, both sporting Alan Day dealer decals.
Overall, this is a lovely and very usable R107 SL that’s ready to use and enjoy. Unusual with such low ownership and sensible mileage.
